Azadeh Mostafavi is a scientist at Orbillion Bio. Azadeh received their undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Azadeh then moved to the United States to pursue their graduate studies, earning their PhD in bioengineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2021.
During their graduate studies, Dr. Mostafavi worked on developing new materials and methods for 3D bioprinting. In particular, they focused on improving soft tissue regeneration and vascularization. Her work has led to significant improvements in these areas, and they have published several papers on their findings.
After completing their PhD, Dr. Mostafavi worked as a visiting researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles for one year. During this time, they developed a new bioink that significantly improved soft tissue regeneration and vascularization in vivo.
Dr. Mostafavi is currently a scientist at Orbillion Bio, where they are continuing their work on developing new materials and methods for 3D bioprinting.
Azadeh Mostafavi completed their PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Azadeh also holds a Master's Degree in Cellular and Developmental Biology from the Royan Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Shiraz University. Azadeh has also completed a certification from Coursera in Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python).
