Federico Rojas is a Principal Scientist and Chemist currently leading the radiation safety program at Orano Med since February 2017, ensuring safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials and acting as the liaison with state authorities. Prior to this, Federico worked at Macrocyclics from April 2010 to November 2022, where responsibilities included supervising product production and enforcing radiation safety protocols. Federico's earlier experience encompasses roles as a Senior Chemist at Macrocyclics, Chemist at Ceutical Laboratories, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, focusing on the synthesis and analysis of pharmaceuticals and imaging probes. Federico holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad de Costa Rica.
