Philippe Lucas is an experienced executive in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Devices and Partnerships at Orange since June 2007, where responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end technical strategy and architecture of the company, as well as leading the transversal delivery programme on eSIM. Prior to this role, Philippe served as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Architecture & Standardisation at Orange, and held various positions at the GSM Association, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of International Standards & Industry Relationships from September 2008 to August 2019. Philippe also contributed to industry standards as Vice Chair of the Board at ETSI from November 2010 to December 2014. Earlier career experiences include a role as Director of Standardisation at Orange and a strategic advisor position at TIW. Philippe holds a DEA in digital signal processing from Grenoble INP - UGA, obtained between 1987 and 1990.
