Simone Fernandes is currently serving as the PTA President for Orange County Public Schools, where responsibilities include creating and implementing programs, presiding over meetings, and addressing parent concerns. Previously, Simone held leadership roles as PTO President and OCPS Policy Council Representative, contributing to community partnerships and policy development. Experience also includes serving as SAC Chairperson, managing advocacy events, and assisting with budget planning. Prior to work in the educational sector, Simone was the Office Manager for Dress for Success Greater Orlando, overseeing administrative functions and program support. Additional board memberships with Orange County Government and Orange Technical College highlight skills in organizational planning and recruitment. Earlier experience includes community outreach and customer service roles at Neiman Marcus Group, focusing on fundraising and enhancing public image.
