Tony Camarillo is an experienced professional in venue management and event coordination, currently serving as the General Manager at Orange County Convention Center since May 2023. In this role, Tony assists the executive team in managing operations with a focus on safety and efficiency, while also addressing the needs of external organizations and leading various divisions. Previously, Tony held the position of RP Funding Center Director for the City of Lakeland from April 2015 to June 2023, overseeing the activities of the multifaceted facility. Earlier career roles include Director of Sales and Services and Senior Director of Sales and Events at Navy Pier/SMG, as well as Sr. Director of Sales and Events at MPEA. Tony holds a degree in Leisure Studies with a focus on Program Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
