Simon Hatherill is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and asset management. Currently serving as Head of Infrastructure at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children, Simon previously held significant roles including General Manager Asset Management at the Ministry of Education of New Zealand and Regional Director and Head of Property at WSP in New Zealand. Earlier career highlights include positions as General Manager - Design Centre South and Wellington Regional Manager at Opus International Consultants, as well as Section Executive roles for Power Networks and Buildings and Property at Parsons Brinckerhoff. Simon holds an MBA in Management and Project Management from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Auckland.
