Bram D'hooghe is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in data protection, privacy, and legal affairs. Currently serving as Director of Security, Privacy & Compliance and Data Protection Officer at Showpad since August 2016, Bram has developed a comprehensive worldwide privacy program aligned with GDPR and CCPA standards. Previous roles at Showpad include Director EMEA Legal and Lead Legal Counsel, where Bram established a legal framework from the ground up. In addition to responsibilities at Showpad, Bram operates as an Independent Business Owner at STiP Consulting, providing compliance and legal consulting services. Active in the Beltug Privacy Council, Bram engages in discussions on data protection practices. Bram's earlier experience includes legal counsel positions at Barco NV and Nuance Communications, as well as work at MVVP and De Schrijver - Van de Gehuchte law firms. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Intellectual Property Rights from KU Leuven and a Juris Doctor from Ghent University.
