Aravind Balakrishnan has a strong background in software development and architecture with experience in various phases of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Aravind started their career at Infosys in 2006 as an IT Analyst, where they worked until 2010. Aravind then joined IBM as a Systems Engineer from 2010 to 2012. After that, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a WCS Consultant from 2012 to 2015. At Infosys, they worked again from 2015 to 2022, this time as a Technical Architect. In this role, they provided end-to-end solutions for e-commerce applications, including handling multiple brands and countries. Aravind also provided solutions on cloud-based microservices architecture for various domains such as e-commerce, retail, and finance. Currently, they are a Software Architect at Optym, a position they have held since 2022.

Aravind Balakrishnan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Engineering Careers and Jobs from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at BHARATHI VIDYA BHAVAN ERODE and obtained their HSC degree from 1995 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Aravind obtained a certification as an IBM WCS 7 Certified Professional from IBM in August 2012.
