Matthew Harris, MBA, CHCIO, CDH-E, CPHIMS, serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Optum since January 2024, leading a Cybersecurity team to enhance security measures and ensure compliance for ProHealth Care. Previously, Matthew held the role of Director of IT Operations at ProHealth Care from October 2018 to January 2024, overseeing portfolio management, governance, and cybersecurity initiatives. Matthew's extensive experience includes positions such as Director of the IT Project Management Office at Advocate Aurora Health, Vice President of the Enterprise Project Management Office at Bank of the West, and various IT management roles at GE Digital and GE Capital, among others. Matthew also served in the United States Air Force in multiple IT positions. Matthew earned an MBA in Management Information Systems from Florida State University and a BS in Management Information Systems from Park University.
