Hamilton Shawn has extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors, currently serving as COO of Optum Innovation since January 2018, where responsibilities include establishing a new product development and innovation function. Previously, roles at OptumInsight included Senior Vice President, contributing to over $20M in new revenue through technology and managed services. Hamilton's experience extends to The Advisory Board Company, where as Senior Vice President, the management of a $200M+ revenue division resulted in an 85% sales growth and notable profitability. Early career achievements include founding ICD Enterprises and various positions within healthcare consulting and investment banking. Hamilton holds an MBA from Northwestern University, a BA in Economics from Georgetown University, and additional education from Tufts University and The Maret School.
