Reza Omrani is currently an advisor at OPTT Health. From November 2015 to January 2017, they were a senior data and signal processing engineer at GenapSys, Inc., working on data analysis for the company's next-generation DNA sequencing solution. Prior to that, they were a senior staff scientist at Broadcom from July 2011 to November 2015, working on the receiver side of Broadcom's next generation chips for 802.11ac Wi-Fi solution for high-end mobile applications. Omrani has been involved in various aspects of receiver design, from inception to successful launch, for a Broadcom chip that has sold more than 100 million units. Reza has also been responsible for providing support to major customers such as Apple and Samsung.
Reza Omrani has a Master's degree in Statistics from Stanford University, a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
