Akiho S. is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Valuation Analyst in the Alternative Investments Valuation Team at OPTrust since 2023. Prior to this role, Akiho worked at PwC Japan from 2019 to 2023 as a Senior Associate, focusing on asset and wealth management audits and M&A transaction valuations. Akiho's career began at Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. from 2015 to 2019, where responsibilities included risk modeling for commodity and weather derivatives, pension fund investment in alternative assets, and consolidated accounting. Akiho holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Keio University, an Extension Program in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and is currently pursuing a Master of Finance at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
