Ville Nummela is a highly experienced optical architect and engineer with a strong background in optical instrumentation and camera systems. Currently serving as Principal Optical Architect at OPTOFIDELITY since June 2023, Ville previously worked as Chief Engineer of Optics at AAC Technologies, where responsibilities included leading technical teams and developing advanced metrology for high-end camera module production. Prior roles encompass leadership positions at DynaOptics and consulting services focused on optics and camera systems. Ville's career commenced at Nokia Corporation, contributing significantly to the development of mobile phone cameras, and includes research roles in optoelectronics and industrial optical measurements. Ville holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics with a specialization in optics from Tampere University of Technology.
