Joonas Pylväinen is an experienced Optical Engineer currently working at OPTOFIDELITY since July 2023. Prior to this role, Joonas served as an Optical Engineer at Microsoft from November 2016 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading the development of customized optical metrology tools for HoloLens 2 and overseeing optical quality during product transfers to contract manufacturers. In a previous position as a Lab Engineer (Contractor), Joonas analyzed lab and manufacturing data to assist in failure analysis and maintained metrology tools. Joonas holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nanoscience from the University of Jyväskylä.
