Omar Cantu is an experienced Chief Inspector currently with Epcon since April 2022 and previously held the same position at Optimized Process Designs LLC from December 2015 to March 2022. During this tenure, Omar Cantu was responsible for overseeing production quality across multiple projects and ensured adherence to best practices in concrete placement, steel erection, welding, and pipe installation, among other tasks. Prior roles include Pipefitter Supervisor, where leadership was provided to a team focused on complex piping systems, and Pipefitter Foreman at Amec Foster Wheeler and Tellepsen. With a strong foundation in technical skills, Omar Cantu has garnered extensive knowledge in inspections, documentation, and communication within the construction industry. Educational pursuits include studies at Texas Tech University and San Jacinto College, following early education at La Porte High School.
