Robert Stupplebeen is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical engineering and bio-engineering. Since August 2013, Robert has served as the CEO of Optimal Device, an engineering consultant firm that specializes in software distribution, particularly for the medical device industry. Prior to this role, Robert worked at Bausch + Lomb as a Senior Systems Design Engineer, where systems for advanced modeling and simulation were developed. At Gentex, Robert held the position of Senior Engineer, focusing on the design of composite military helmets, and previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Materials Sciences Corporation, where naval ship designs were completed using composite structures. Robert holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Bio-Engineering and Biomechanics from Cornell University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
