Ido Porat has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Ido currently works at OPSWAT as a Software Engineer, where they are a Developer Researcher and Data scientist for the Innovation team. Their responsibilities include expanding the capabilities of tools performing Static & Dynamic analysis to detect malicious files and utilizing ML algorithms to reduce false positives.

Prior to OPSWAT, Ido worked at Veepee as a Software Engineer starting in 2019.

Ido also has experience at Dell EMC as a Full Stack Developer from October 2017 to November 2018, and as a Tier 1 Analyst from August 2016 to October 2017.

Before Dell EMC, they worked at Siklu Communication as an Assistant Production and QA Team Leader from August 2013 to February 2014.

Ido started their career at Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps as an Automatic Intelligence Systems Operator from May 2010 to April 2013.

Additionally, they briefly worked at Sabra Fence as a Software Tester in 2012.

Ido Porat completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Ido attended the university from 2014 to 2018.
