LeAnn Pedersen Pope is the Board Chair of Opportunity International, where they focus on global financial solutions for families in extreme poverty. With over 30 years in the legal field as a partner at Burke, Warren, McKay & Serritella, LeAnn led the firm's Consumer Financial Services Class Action Defense Group, defending major banks in numerous class action cases. After retiring from law, they earned a Master of Theology from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in May 2020, where their thesis explored themes of race and redemption. LeAnn actively promotes social justice through various initiatives and serves on the Board of Trustees at Carthage College, where they received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2021.
