Opportunity House changes lives by feeding, housing,  employing,  and empowering people to stand on their own feet. And our emergency shelter is just one of the programs that make Berks County a better place to live and help everyone to thrive. In addition to our emergency shelter, we offer:
•	a goals-oriented program to help our clients build a meaningful and productive life
•	supportive and transitional housing
•	a state-licensed childcare center and preschool
•	supportive services for veteran families 
•	reuse and recycle services whose profits support our programs
