Joe Wirzburger is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in applications engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at OPEX Corporation since December 2016, Joe focuses on the Perfect Pick and Sure Sort product lines. Prior to this role, Joe worked at Boekel Scientific as a Mechanical Design Engineer, utilizing SolidWorks for laboratory equipment design. At IEDCO, Joe held the position of Mechanical Engineer Project Manager, where responsibilities included designing custom OEM stainless steel powder handling equipment and managing multiple projects annually, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and optimizing project profitability. Joe's early work as a Project Coordinator for District 7500 RYLA involved developing innovative training programs and advising on conflict resolution. Joe holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained in 2002.
