Sheila Tran is a seasoned communications and investment professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and investor relations across various technology and sports sectors. Currently serving as a Founding Investor at Bay FC, the first professional women's sports team in the Bay Area, Sheila has contributed significantly to fundraising and branding efforts. In addition to roles at First Round Capital and Operator Collective, Sheila has held key positions as Chief Communications Officer at Opendoor, where strategic communications were built during rapid growth, and as Head of Global Communications at Yahoo, managing global communications during significant transitions, including mergers and acquisitions. Sheila's earlier career includes leadership in communications at Polyvore, Symantec Corporation, and America Online. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
