Charles Douglas is an experienced makeup artist and educator with a diverse background in the beauty industry. Currently serving as a Sales & Education Executive at MAKE UP FOR EVER since June 2015, Charles manages sales, education, artistry, and development for beauty advisors and freelance artists in Sephora stores, while also focusing on talent recruitment and retention. As a Freelance Retail Artist for OPERA San Antonio since September 2014, Charles designs and applies stage makeup and wigs for opera performances. Past roles include Makeup Artist for Al Jazeera Media Network, where Charles worked with notable on-air talent, and National Makeup Artist for CHANEL. Additionally, experience includes significant tenures at MAC Cosmetics, first as a Resident Trainer responsible for the education of retail artists in Washington D.C., and prior roles as a retail makeup artist. Charles possesses a Performers Certificate in Clarinet Performance and Opera Production from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
