Marta Naranjo

Lead Implementation Manager at OpenSC

Marta Naranjo has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Project Engineer at Núcleo, where they developed technical offers for the Spanish Department of Defense and NATO. Marta also determined project schedules, plans, and specifications.

In 2009, Marta worked as a Network Engineer at TGGI for a brief period.

From 2010 to 2012, they served as an Operations Engineer at MilSat Services, where they were involved in the development and implementation of satellite communication solutions.

Marta then joined Astrium Services as a Network and Telecom Engineer from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they designed and developed networking solutions over satellites, implemented security solutions, and worked on VoIP and teleconference projects.

From 2014 to 2017, Marta worked as a Project Manager in Secure Communications at Airbus. Marta then became the Digital PMO Lead for New Business Innovation in Airbus from 2017 to 2018.

From 2018 to 2021, Marta assumed the role of Venture Builder in New Business Innovation at Airbus, where they explored the ecosystem to build businesses with impact.

In 2021, they were appointed as the Venture Builder Lead at Airbus Scale, responsible for setting up and operating infrastructure for venture building principles and practices.

Most recently, Marta joined OpenSC in 2022 as the Lead Implementation Manager.

Marta Naranjo has an extensive education history. In 2005-2006, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Mälardalen University. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued another Master's Degree, this time in Accounting and Finance, at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they completed a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

In addition to their degrees, Marta Naranjo has also acquired various certifications. In 2008, they obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco, followed by a CCNP certification in 2010. In 2012, they completed the iDirect Operation and Maintenance certification from iDirect. Moving on to non-technical certifications, in 2018, they achieved the title of "Certified Wrong Thinker" from Future Partners and completed the "Becoming a changemaker: Introduction to Social Innovation (with Honors)" course on Coursera. In 2019, they became a "Think Wrong trainer" from Solve Next. Lastly, in 2021 and 2022, they obtained certifications in "Sustainable Business Strategy" from Harvard Business School Online and "Multiplicadores B" from B Lab Spain, respectively.
