Jon joined Openreach in 2017 and, as well as being board secretary, is our director of internal audit and Commitments monitoring.

Jon is a qualified accountant and has a telecoms degree. He was previously chief operating officer of BT Group’s legal, governance and compliance team. While he was there he set up the Equality of Access Office, which monitored and reported on how BT and Openreach were complying with undertakings made to Ofcom (before our current commitments).

He’s currently non-executive director and audit chair with Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
