Julien Leproust

Julien Leproust has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the technology industry.

Julien began their career as a Development Intern at Thales Training & Simulation in 2003. In 2004, they joined VIA Centrale Réseaux as a Network & Systems Administrator. At VIA Centrale Réseaux, they were responsible for managing and maintaining the network and systems infrastructure.

In 2004, Julien Leproust moved to Ercom, where they worked as a Telecommunications Engineer. During their time at Ercom, they developed high-performance network simulation and testing products and provided consulting services in information technologies, IT security, networking, and wireless.

From 2007 to 2016, Julien Leproust worked at EXALEAD in various roles. Initially, they served as an R&D Engineer, where they contributed to the development of the public web search engine and a distributed computing framework. Later, they became the R&D Team Manager for Web & Data Mining, where they led the development of Exalead's web index and distributed web crawler.

In 2016, Julien Leproust joined Opendatasoft as an Infrastructure Architect Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the design and management of the company's infrastructure. Julien then progressed to become the Head of Infrastructure and Security in 2020, where they oversaw the company's infrastructure and security operations. Currently, they hold the position of Head of SRE, leading the Site Reliability Engineering team at Opendatasoft.

Throughout their career, Julien Leproust has demonstrated a strong technical acumen and expertise in various technologies and domains, including Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra, network simulation, and IT security.

Julien Leproust's education history began in 1996 when they attended Lycée Van Gogh and pursued a Baccalauréat S degree with a focus on Science. Julien completed their secondary education at Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris from 1999 to 2001, specializing in Maths and Physics. Following this, from 2001 to 2004, Julien studied at CentraleSupélec, where they earned a degree in Engineering with a focus on Intelligent Technological Systems, including Computer Science and Electronics.
