Barbara Mertlova is a Senior Service Design Consultant at Opencast since February 2022, focusing on sustainable service design for various clients including UK Government departments. Barbara is also the founder of Virtual Design Coffee, facilitating user-centered design conversations online. With prior experience as a Service Designer at Open Change from November 2017 to February 2022, responsibilities included service design, research, and project management for clients such as the Scottish Government and NHS. Additional roles encompass mentoring for DUSA Media, co-organizing events in the service design community, and contributing to various student media outlets during studies at the University of Dundee, where Barbara earned an MA in Politics & International Relations.
