Joseph Jacks has been working in the tech industry since 2018, when they founded and became a General Partner at OSS Capital. In 2020, they invested in Rocket.Chat. In 2021, they became a Founding Lead Seed Investor for OpenBB, Hoppscotch, Cal.com, Inc., and NocoDB. Joseph also served on the board of Hoppscotch. In 2022, they became a Founding Lead Seed Investor for W4 Games, Stability AI, and Spacedrive.

Joseph Jacks attended Jacks Academy from 1991 to 2006, where they received a Pre-school through High-school degree in General Studies.
