Tom Drukker is a seasoned educator and researcher with extensive experience in the field of sociology and education. Currently, Tom serves as a member of the Lid vakver vernieuwingscommissie maatschappijleer at SLO and engages in the Klankbordgroep van leraren for the Nationaal Regieorgaan Onderwijsonderzoek, contributing to the improvement of educational research practices. Tom has been a project leader at Openbaar Onderwijs Groningen since August 2010, where responsibilities include promoting research-driven practices in schools. Previous roles include teaching sociology and supervising research projects at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, as well as working as a social researcher at VINK. Tom holds both a Master of Science in sociology and a Bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Groningen.
