Justin Jay Wang is a seasoned design professional with a comprehensive background in communications design, currently serving as a member of the design staff at OpenAI since October 2018. Responsibilities at OpenAI include website design and development, internal tools, identity design, graphic design, editorial design, information visualization, and merchandise design, along with building the team from inception. Previous roles encompass positions at Barrel, Oak Studios, Vertigo Software, and Duncan Channon, where contributions involved designing and developing solutions for notable clients such as Columbia University, Google, and NBC. Justin holds a B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a course at Type@Cooper from 2017 to 2018.
