Athina Skotara is an experienced professional in student development and alumni relations, currently serving as the Coordinating Officer for the Student Development & Alumni Relations Department at the Open University of Cyprus since October 2017. Key responsibilities include coordinating the Alumni Relations Office, contributing to EU projects for career and labor market integration, and designing student career coaching programs. Previously, Athina held the positions of Research & Finance Officer, Career Coordinator, and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator at Frederick University, managing funded projects, providing career coaching, and facilitating international student mobility. Early career experience includes roles as Assistant Event Manager at Art Actuel Communication and Assistant Sales Manager at Livanis Publishing Organization SA. Athina holds a Master's degree in Educational Studies from Open University of Cyprus, a Master II Pro in Public Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
