Nick Weir is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community facilitation and resilience building. As the Founder of First Resource since 1995, Nick has led community-driven initiatives focused on food production, distribution, renewable energy, and energy conservation, along with designing and facilitating workshops. Nick serves as a Community Facilitator for Open Food Network and its UK branch since 2014 and 2015, respectively. Additionally, from 2003 to 2022, Nick held the position of Director at the Foundation for Local Food Initiatives and was the Founding Director of Local United from 2010 to 2021. Nick holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Lancaster University, with a focus on Facilitation, Marketing, and Communications.
