Leon Giulio Niglia is a skilled Permit Specialist with extensive experience in managing the permitting process for telecommunications infrastructure. Currently, at Open Fiber since March 2023, Leon directs and monitors permit acquisition phases while managing relationships with regulatory entities and assisting legal functions with disputes. Previous roles include Permit Specialist positions at OpNet SpA and Vodafone, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the design and execution phases for mobile communication facilities. At Ericsson, Leon specialized in site acquisition and permitting for radio base stations, including modernizations and new site deployments for 5G. Leon holds a degree in Architecture from Sapienza Università di Roma and a master’s degree in Bioclimatic Architecture and Technological Innovation from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
