Machana Nyabuto is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in finance and auditing. Currently serving as an Accounts and Finance Associate and Finance Fellow at Open Capital since October 2020, Machana has previously held roles that include Supply Finance at Diageo East African Breweries, where responsibilities included improving operational data analysis and inventory management. Early career experiences include an Audit Corporate-Consulting Internship at Deloitte East Africa, focusing on auditing methodologies and IFRS compliance, and Corporate Strategy and Planning at the National Oil Corporation of Kenya, conducting performance assessments. Machana’s foundational experience as an Accounts Receivable Accountant at GILANI'S involved cash management and sales analysis. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi and a CPA from Strathmore Business School.
