Daniel Herrera is an experienced aerospace systems integration specialist currently serving as Team Leader of the Aerospace Systems Integration Business Unit at OPAL-RT Technologies since August 2016. With a strong foundation in scientific research, Daniel contributed to energy efficiency studies on Li-ion batteries for electric vehicles as a Scientific Researcher at the Hydrogen Research Institute from September 2013 to February 2016. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant focused on hydrogen fuel cell efficiency and as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Smart-Ing. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, along with Bachelor's degrees in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito.
