Jouke Kardolus is an experienced professional in the agro-food sector with a strong focus on sustainable innovations and data-driven transitions in food systems. Currently serving as a Senior Projectmanager at Oost NL since June 2013, Jouke is involved in various initiatives including artificial intelligence applications in agriculture, circular food ingredients, and innovative food solutions. Additionally, roles include coordinator for the Agriculture and Nutrition working group at the Nederlandse AI Coalitie and theme coordinator for data-driven food systems at Think East Netherlands. Previous experiences encompass business development, innovation advising, and project management at notable organizations including BASF and Wageningen University & Research. Jouke holds a PhD in Evolution Biology and a Master's Degree in Plant Breeding from Wageningen University & Research.
