Thad White has extensive experience in product management and leadership roles. Thad first started their career as a Software Development Intern at Compaq Computers in 1993. Later, they worked as a Software Developer at Insource Technology in 1994. Thad then joined Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) as a Consultant in 1995.

In 1998, they started their tenure at Yahoo! as a Senior Product Manager in charge of PIM and Distribution Groups. Thad continued to progress at Yahoo! and eventually became the Senior Director of Product Management for Yahoo! Mobile, where they extended Yahoo's web properties to wireless devices and significantly increased active mobile users.

Thad's next venture was at 3jam, Inc., an early-stage NEA funded startup, as a VP of Product and Marketing. Thad played a crucial role in the development and acquisition of 3 million users in 180 countries.

Afterward, they worked at Skydeck as a VP of Product Management. Despite not finding product/market fit, Thad gained valuable experience at this early-stage startup focused on mining calling and texting logs.

Thad then joined BlackBerry in 2010 as a Director of Handheld Software Product Management. Thad led various teams responsible for the development of core applications and user interface components. Thad was also recognized for their contributions in creating the best-in-class virtual keyboard for BlackBerry 10.

Moving forward, Thad transitioned to Ooma, Inc. in 2015 as a Director of Product Management before being promoted to VP of Product Management. Thad manages product teams responsible for residential, industrial, and emerging products, including mobile apps, customer premise equipment, web apps, smart home voice apps, and billing.

Thad White attended Rice University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science and Linguistics with extensive Computer Science coursework. Furthermore, they obtained a Machine Learning Certification from Coursera Course Certificates in September 2017.
