Lourenco Lanfranchi

Senior Sales Director, Latin America at Ookla

Lourenco Lanfranchi has extensive work experience in various sales and business development roles within the telecommunications industry. Lourenco started their career at IBM in 1997 as a Telco Sales Consultant, generating new software solution deals with telecom service providers in Brazil. Lourenco then joined Lucent Technologies in 1998 as a Senior Business Development Manager, where they led the Applications Solutions Sales in Brazil and was responsible for defining strategic plans and managing sales resources.

After their tenure at Lucent Technologies, Lanfranchi worked at Comptel as a Regional Sales Director, focusing on sales management for telecommunications service providers in Latin America. Lourenco supported OSS/BSS and Unified Communications products and established partnerships in the region.

Lanfranchi then joined UTStarcom as a Sales Director, where they continued to work in a sales management role. Lourenco later moved to Tekelec as a Technical Account Manager for LATAM and managed customer accounts in the region.

In 2010, Lanfranchi took on the role of Managing Director for the Ascom Network Testing division in Brazil at TEMS (now part of InfoVista), where they launched the company's operations and led sales, pre-sales, and services. Lourenco also worked at IBM as an Analytics Sales Executive for the Telecommunications market in Brazil, responsible for selling cognitive solutions and analytics products to customers.

In 2017, Lanfranchi joined LA Lanfranchi Consulting as a Senior Business Development Consultant, focusing on strategy consulting for Digitex and developing projects in automation and technology implementation for improved customer experience.

Lourenco then transitioned to Opensignal in 2018, where they served as a Sales Director for Latin America, before moving to Ookla in 2019. At Ookla, Lanfranchi initially held the position of Sales Director for Latin America and later progressed to the role of Senior Sales Director, overseeing sales operations in the region.

Lourenco Lanfranchi is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Software Engineering at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
