Deirdre Cleary is an experienced instructor and technical advisor with a strong background in software engineering and teaching. Currently serving as an instructor at Code First Girls since February 2023, Deirdre has taught over 400 women in coding courses and is preparing to teach a program focused on Python and app development. In addition to instructional roles, Deirdre works as a technical advisor at ö´Ç²µ´Ç piccolo, contributing to the development of a childcare solution and overseeing technical operations. Deirdre's previous experience includes significant positions at Evervault, where Deirdre was a founding member of the engineering team, and Susquehanna International Group, LLP, where Deirdre contributed to options trading platforms and mentored interns. Deirdre holds a BSc in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Maynooth University and has demonstrated expertise in both technical and community-focused roles in the tech industry.
