Ron Phillips is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Onyx since June 2023, Ron previously held the position of Stress and Support Supervisor at Onyx Aerospace from August 2021 to April 2023. Prior to that, Ron was a Sr Test Engineer at CONNECTKIT, INC., where responsibilities included Cryogenic System Testing and Construction support for the ULA Complex 41 Vulcan program. Ron's career also includes significant roles at SGT Aerospace and ASRC Aerospace as a Cryogenics Systems Supervisor and Fluids Systems Supervisor, respectively, managing design for Ground Launch Systems and spacecraft support facilities. Earlier experience includes serving as the Avionics/Mechanical Test System Design Manager at United Space Alliance, overseeing test set designs for Space Shuttle Orbiter components. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, complementing earlier education at Trevecca Nazarene University.
