Sam Verstocken has the following work experience:

1. ONTOFORCE (February 2019 - Present): Software engineer.

2. Ghent University (January 2015 - January 2019): PhD Student.

3. Ghent University (September 2014 - January 2015): Wetenschappelijk medewerker.

4. Ghent University (September 2013 - June 2014): Master Thesis Student.

5. Royal Observatory of Belgium (September 2013): Student Internship.

Sam Verstocken completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Sint-Jozef-Klein-Seminarie, where they obtained an ASO diploma with a focus on Wetenschappen-Wiskunde. Following that, they pursued higher education at Ghent University from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics and astronomy, with a specialization in Astronomy and astrophysics. In addition to their academic degrees, Sam Verstocken also obtained certifications. In June 2014, they received the certification for "Master of Science in de fysica en de sterrenkunde" from Ghent University. Later, in May 2019, they completed the Docker Fundamentals certification from Amazic.
