Jian Ding is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor and optical engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Technology for the Inspection Business Unit at Onto Innovation since October 2018, Jian previously held key positions such as Director of Core Technology Development and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Rudolph Technologies from October 2011 to October 2018. Jian's career began at Therma-Wave as a Sr. Research Scientist from 1997 to 2001, followed by a role as Program Manager at OCLARO from May 2008 to July 2009.
