Luc Gallant, P. Eng. is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Ontario Power Generation since November 2015, where responsibilities include leading engineering roles on capital projects and supporting operational needs across the Northeast Region. Prior experience includes serving as a Generator Contact Engineer at Syncrude Canada Ltd. from September 2008 to November 2015, where monitoring and troubleshooting of electrical generators were key tasks. Luc also held the position of Electrical Engineer, E.I.T. and completed two work terms as an Electrical Engineering Student at General Motors in early 2007, focusing on PLC troubleshooting and energy optimization initiatives. Luc holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2008.
