Jana Ratnam, P.Eng. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the nuclear power industry. Currently serving as Design Team Lead and Modification Team Lead at Ontario Power Generation since 2014, Jana has overseen significant projects such as the U3 Aux Shutdown Cooling Pumps and various seismic improvements following the Fukushima event. Prior experience includes roles at Bruce Power as Project Engineer and Field Team Leader, and as a Process Engineer at GE Energy. Jana’s earlier work involved quality control and engineering support at Ontario Power Generation, as well as consulting and developmental roles in the nuclear field. Jana holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Mechatronics, from Ontario Tech University.
