Daanish Hussain has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daanish is currently working as an Investment Lead, Advanced Manufacturing at Invest Ontario. Prior to this, they held positions at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, where they served as a Senior Account Executive for Electric Vehicle Battery & Supply Chain and held roles as Special Advisor and Executive Assistant, Team Lead of the Strategic Policy Unit, and Senior Advisor. Daanish also worked as a Project Consultant at Export Development Canada and an Analyst at Spitzberg Partners LLC. Earlier in their career, Daanish worked as a Research Associate at Harvard Kennedy School & Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan, Co-Founder - Director of Operations & Strategy at Hunger Buddy, and a Senior Account Executive at US Bank - Elavon, Inc. Daanish also gained experience as an Associate at GAIA Envirolink and held research assistant and floor fellow positions at McGill University.

Daanish Hussain started their education at McGill University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Economics and Sociology. Daanish then pursued a Master of Global Affairs degree at the University of Toronto from 2014 to 2016, focusing on Global Economy and Markets.
