Tim Young has over 20 years of experience in the field of software engineering and information technology. Tim is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Ontada, where they specialize in developing software for interoperability solutions supporting an oncology EMR. Tim'sconcentration is mainly on FHIR APIs and server, the supporting platform, and creating code to support a Carequality integration. Tim utilizes Java, Dynamo, Redis, Oracle, and custom API web services along with FHIR and CCDA for data storage and handling.

Prior to their current role, Tim worked at Humana as a Principal Data Architect from 2017 to 2020. In this position, they served as a technical solution architect and software developer for integration initiatives with EMR and HIE systems. Tim guided interoperability integrations with EMR systems, determined business requirements, assessed solution viability, and determined the best architecture. Tim worked primarily with Java, Javascript, E4X, and Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

From 2013 to 2017, Tim worked at LumiraDx as a Solutions Architect, where they created technical solution designs for large-scale integrations in both domestic and international markets.
