April Beeks, MPH has worked in a variety of roles in healthcare and public health. April'smost recent role is as a Research Scientist at Ontada where they lead and manages Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) studies in collaboration with pharmaceutical industry and academic partners. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Consultant and Biostatistician in the same field. Beeks also has experience in epidemiology and data analysis, having worked as an Epidemiologist and Data Analyst at Harris County Public Health and as a Data Management Intern at the Georgia Department of Public Health. April began their career in the customer service field as a Customer Sales and Support and Customer Relations/Rapid Rewards representative at Southwest Airlines.

April Beeks, MPH holds a Master's Degree in Public Health Epidemiology from East Tennessee State University, a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of West Georgia, and a Certificate in Biostatistics for Clinicians and Health Professionals from UNT Health Science Center. April has also obtained multiple certifications from FEMA, including IS-100.HCB Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS 100) for Healthcare/Hospitals, IS-200.B ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incident, ICS-200, IS-700.A National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) An Introduction, and IS-800.B National Response Framework, An Introduction.
