Bret Hartman is the current Senior Advisor at OnSystem Logic. Bret has also served as the VP & CTO of Security Business Group at Cisco from September 2012 to February 2021. Prior to that, they were the CTO at RSA, The Security Division of EMC from January 2007 to October 2012, and the CTO, Information Security at EMC from January 2006 to December 2007. Bret has also worked as the Director, Technical Services, SOA Appliances at IBM from January 2005 to December 2005, and as the VP, Technology Solutions at DataPower Technology from January 2003 to December 2005. Bret's first VP position was at Concept Five, where they served from January 1997 to December 2001.

Bret Hartman attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Bret then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
