Yehudi Mercado is a seasoned writer and cartoonist with a diverse background in animation and publishing. Currently serving as a writer at DreamWorks Animation since July 2021, Yehudi also holds directorial roles at Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, along with ongoing positions as a cartoonist for DC Comics, HarperCollins Publishers, and Oni Press, where Yehudi created the notable SCI-FU series. Previous experience includes a freelance writing role at Pinna, a cartoonist position at Epic for Kids, and work as a storyboard artist for the DC Super Hero Girls animated series. Yehudi earned a BFA in Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin between 1992 and 1997.
