Mr. Mahesh Vishwanathan Iyer is an Electrical Engineering Graduate, having more than 34 years of rich experience in Midstream sector of Oil & Gas Industry. Presently, he is serving as Director (Business Development) in GAIL india Limited and is responsible for building GAIL’s Business Portfolio in India and abroad including Merger and Acquisition, Strategy & planning, Petrochemical Projects, Exploration & Production, Health Safety & Environment Management, Quality Management and Business Development. Prior to this Mr. Iyer has worked as Executive Director (Projects) and was part of implementation of several landmark projects for GAIL. He has also been associated in the commissioning of the Dabhol LNG Regasification Terminal and implementation of 100 MW Wind power project & 5 MW Solar power projects. Earlier, he has also served as a Director on the Board of Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL)., a company responsible for implementation of 1,656-kilometre-long natural gas pipeline spreading across 8 North Eastern States of India.
