Nik Sharma is a prominent figure in the field of neurology and medical innovation, currently serving as CEO and co-founder of BioCorteX since March 2021. In addition to this role, Nik is a consultant neurologist at OneWelbeck and a fellow at the Centre for the Advancement of Medical Innovation. Previous positions include membership in the Integrated Academic Training Advisory Committee for the National Institute for Health Research and leadership in integrated academic training at UCL, alongside a long-standing role as a consultant neurologist at the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery. With a foundational career starting as a co-founder of Blue Ice Technologies Ltd, Nik holds advanced medical qualifications, including an MRCP and FRCP from The Royal College of Physicians, and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge.
